Couldn‘t get past the insipidness; flat one-dimensional characters and I feared hurting myself with the eyerolls. I didn‘t even get to the mystery! Lots of pies but even pie couldn‘t rescue my interest.

It's a coming-of-age story that conveys the angst of Cady, all the feelings she's going through, and how she learns to feel better. It's an uplifting story, full of sweetness and hope.

Great fun to read. Absolute joy. A real gem if you like cozy mysteries and enjoy baking! Well thought out and I can highly recommend it. Likeable characters and a charming setting. Leaves you wanting to read more. This is my second time reading it for a challenge.
