so-soI have mixed results with Aiken's writing. The Wolves of Willoughby Chase is one of my heart-books, but some of her other books I've read were frankly dreadful. This one was the middle for me. I was interested in the story and where things were going, but also... there didn't seem to exactly be a point? But another one off the shelf AND I checked off 1969 for #192025 !! @Librarybelle

pickThis book was soooo much fun! I couldn't help but giggle at Ness and her outlook on life! This book does cover some heavy topics but in a simple way that makes it not feel too overwhelming. I loved it so much and felt like it really put a spotlight on what true nightmares are made of! Perfect read for spooky season. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
