#BOOKMAIL I found out about this sequel to The Wind in the Willows when I was looking up #indiepresses for the photo challenge last month and preordered it. It looks beautiful and adds some much needed female characters into the mix with Ratty, Moley, Toad, and Badger.

batsy It looks lovely! Can't wait to hear what you think about it. 7y
Jinjer Ratty & Moley! How cute! 7y
Libby1 I've added it to my TBR. Keep me posted! 7y

This book comes from Curbside Splendor, which is a cool name for a company and this is a great book title. #IndiePresses #AndItsAugust

For the #indiepresses prompt, I'm giving a shoutout to Loose Moose Publishing, a small press based in Prescott, AZ that has been doing a wonderful job enthusiastically promoting my brother's first novel, SHAMELESS DICK: ODYSSEY OF A CAD. For Litsy poets, note that Loose Moose is currently accepting submissions for its next anthology. www.loosemoosepublishing.com.

Pickpick

The third installment in the Billy Boyle series shifts the backdrop to Sicily and opens with quite a hook, as our hero has amnesia!! It's another fast-paced and fun read and I can't wait to see what happens next! #IndiePresses #AndItsAugust @RealLifeReading

#AndItsAugust #day28 #IndiePresses I have a lot of Indie Presses on my shelves these days. So many more than I had prior to joining Litsy. This is one of the many reasons I love being here, I would never have heard of these books & houses without it. We have Relief Map-Tin House Books, My Life With Bob-Henry Holt & Company, The Curse Of Jacob Tracy-Thomas Dunne Books, Spoonbenders-Riverrun & Stan And Nan-Jonathan Cape.

RealLifeReading And a TBR jar! 7y
ChasingOm I love, love, love the Jacob Tracy books -- the one you have and a follow up novella 7y
Schlinkles Spoonbenders is a lot of fun. Has the same dysfunctional family feeling like Arrested Development. 7y

Verso is one of the #indiepresses I heard about after joining Litsy. I went a little nuts with radical feminist books there recently. #anditsaugust

Louise "Went a little nuts" ??? I think we can all relate when it comes to online bookstores! 7y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Louise Right?!? At least they were on sale - most were 99 cents or $1.99. 7y
Louise Deals like that will get us every time! 📚📚📚 7y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Louise Sure does! It's rare that I pay full price for a book. 7y
Leftcoastzen Love Verso! Many titles on my shelves are Verso! 7y
