One of my favourite reads of the year - I picked this book up on a whim and was pretty instantly addicted to it - had me properly laughing out loud and yelling at the characters (sometimes in agreement, sometimes nooooo!)

My library had one of those blind date with a book displays, only this display was holiday themed. All the books were wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper with a tag on the front that said who the book was for. I chose this one, and took it up to the front desk and checked it out on my card. This is my 3 yo daughter‘s current favorite book. We‘ve been reading it many times a day. Brief story of Cassatt and how she overcame stereotypes, was mentored by and included in art circles by degas, and stayed true to herself. My sister-in-law who is also an artist sent it as a gift.
