Catching up from yesterday. I had house guests arrive & the day got away. For falling out of love I went back 5 years to when I reviewed this book. Abigail thinks her marriage can be helped with a special dinner for him & a diet book for her but her husband Thad tells her marriage isn‘t working for him. The book was fine, the standout was the Indian-inspired egg sandwich with curry ketchup I made for my review.😋

Okay okay I know what you're thinking, how does this book have anything to do with love? But believe me when I say it does. Victor loved the idea of creating his monster. He even loved his monster for a time, but fell quickly out of love with his monster when he realized the abomination that he created. Even more so when the monster started murdering the people Victor loved most. This is a sad tale of love and tragedy. I love it so much 💔

I named my daughter after Nora from A Doll‘s House because I wanted her to have the same strength to stand up for herself. Nora‘s overbearing and condescending husband Torvald had it coming.

This character ties specific memories to outfits. She is no stranger to #fallingoutoflove, loss (her daughter, and her mom at a young age), and other family upheavals.

#FebruaryFeels Day 9: There is no #FallingOutOfLove with this book to fall IN LOVE with. A young boy is smitten by this young girl who has a thing for birds. She seems to have eyes only for those flying creatures in the skies that our young protagonist has taken it upon himself to be just like them.
