#WeeklyForecast March 15-21 This week‘s plan is to finish reading my library digital loans Into the Wild & Little Brother & start American Gods. My #Discworld reread is back on now that my hubby is done with Jingo. If I finish it this week, I‘ll start I Shall Wear Midnight (one of the Discworld books I haven‘t read yet). I don‘t think he‘ll finish The Fifth Elephant before I get through Jingo. I probably should‘ve let him get a few books ahead! ⬇️

TK-421 If I haven‘t explained before about my #DiscworldReread: I‘ve read most of Discworld and kept telling my husband he should read them. Last year when he finally started reading the series I decided I‘d reread each book when he‘s done with it. He reads slower than I do so I often have to find something else to read while I wait. I recently picked up a few Discworld books I haven‘t read before so I‘m going to read those while I‘m waiting for him... (edited) 4y
TK-421 ...By the time he gets around to reading them & I get to reread them, it‘ll probably feel like reading them for the first time 😂 I tend to forget a lot of details. Part of the reason I‘m rereading the books so I know what my husband is talking about when he says, “oh, I loved the part when...” And also because I‘ve enjoyed almost every Discworld book* & wanted to reread them anyway. (*except Eric & Interesting Times. I‘m not a fan of Rincewind) 4y

I‘m waiting for my hubby to finish Jingo so I can continue my #DiscworldReread so I decided to read 1 of 8 Discworld books I haven‘t read yet. I‘m not a big fan of Rincewind. I‘m only 80 pgs in but so far it‘s not really interesting (haha). I‘ll keep on, though. I want to read all of Discworld so no bailing! I reread the first 2 books after my hubby read them for the 1st time & they were better than I remembered so maybe there‘s hope yet!

I only completed 5 books but Sept was a great reading month: I spent lots of time with my #ReadingBuddy Minerva both indoors & out; I read more books by women than men; 2 of them were mysteries instead of my usual #SFF; I finally got to read SRD‘s The War Within after waiting for it for months; & now that my hubby has a 2 book lead, my #DiscworldReread is back on! #CatwithBook #CatsofLitsy #SelfReflection #SeptemberStats #SelfImprovementSept

TK-421 @wanderinglynn Thanks 😊 I know, I need to worry less about how many books I read in a month. You‘re right that no matter the quantity just the act of reading a book is awesome 🙌 5y
TK-421 @OriginalCyn620 Thank you! 😺 5y

5 books completed in August (6 if I count book 1 in The Giver Quartet). The last book of “The Man Who” series was a bit slow to start but when it got going, I was hooked. My #DiscworldReread is on pause until my hubby gets a few books ahead. This is his first time reading them & he‘s been tearing through them at a good pace but I read fast so I caught up! In the meantime, I decided to reread Good Omens. #AugustStats #ExcellentWrapup #AugustABC
