a great informational book for the kids
In the middle of the night, Little Star woke up
A big Mooncake for Little Star is a great classroom Caldecott. This informational book about the phases of the moon is complimented with beautiful pictures.
We went to my daughter's lantern festival. I had to improvise and made two lanterns in 10 minutes. Glow sticks for the win!
Best thing about this though, managed the brisk walk home from the school without being winded in any way. This is what all the rounds of #BFC have done for me.

This month‘s Cookbook Club read looks thorough and delicious. It even includes wine pairings! I can wait to start experimenting.
#BookNLunch! #MrBook1inaMillion Edition! Accompaniment this cold, gray afternoon: double-grilled cheese & bacon sandwiches (smokehouse cheddar inside, mozzarella & parmesan on the outside), cheddar & bacon potato chips, and Vanilla Coke. MMMmmmm 😋! This has been another presentation of: #MrBookKitchen. Happy reads & happy eats! 😎👌🏻

This F book would be the best DR for young readers. The story is about a giant mooncake that Little Star's mom made for her. She asks her, daughter, not to eat it all too fast. By night after night, Little Star eats the moon cake until it is all gone! The students would have a blast reenacting this story. #ucflae3414f19

Xingling is ready to celebrate the Lunar New Year, but trouble arises when the legendary Nian Monster appears to devour her and all of Shanghai. She will need to use her quick thinking and creativity to outwit the Nian Monster and save her city in time for the festivities. This TL is perfect for RT, having multiple students play the narrators and the two major roles of the Nian Monster and Xingling.
