Today‘s a good #bookmail day! Now that #botm is in my rear view, I‘ve become a Fantastic Strangeling! The tagged is my inaugural book and not something I would usually choose, but it looks like it‘ll be funny, which I like. I joined independent press subscriptions when I quit #botm and I have no regrets. #andotherstories is based in northern England and publishes very unusual stories. Olivia Rosenthal‘s To Leave with the Reindeer won an English Pen Award (notable work now translated into English). So far I really love this weird book! (Plus, I get thanked by name in the back for being a supporter!) & Other Stories publishes only “shamelessly literary” books 🤓
