pickI don‘t think I‘ve read this author before but the premise was great! I love the idea of former CIA agents now serving as cozy detectives. The other characters were kind of meh but I enjoyed the connection between a crime in the past and a current mystery unfolding as the story progresses. This is the second book in a series but can definitely be read alone. I‘ll definitely read more by this author! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

pickEnjoyed this one. I liked the Maine setting and the Martini Club members, and the mystery had enough twists & turns to keep me guessing. Bonus Lee Child/ Tess Gerritsen short story in the back of the book, for Reacher fans.
I'm about 1/3 done with this, and really enjoying it so far. I like the Maine in summer setting; reminds me of some great vacations in the past. Enjoying the characters in the Martini Club!

pickThe Martini Club is once again helping the police chief of their tiny Maine town solve a crime, a crime that reaches back decades, and reveals answers to other mysteries. But this case also has them questioning whether their age is starting to hinder their abilities. Physical abilities, yes. Mental abilities? Kidnapping, drowning, murder, intrigue, family, betrayal. You will fly through this book. I love the characters in this series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
pickI ended up quite liking this even though we have a bit less of our main characters than in The Spy Coast. The Summer Guests is a smaller tale in terms of scope , but it‘s well-told and keeps you wondering if you‘re right about the solution. #audiowalk
So far I‘m enjoying this book, but I liked The Spy Coast better. We‘ll see how it ends up. I‘ve got about 3 hours left. #audiowalk
