pickFrom the get go Olivia and Malachi couldn‘t be more different when it comes to superficial looks and likings. Where she‘s all fluffy unicorns and rainbows, he‘s all gloomy, dark mystery and sadness. Overall I enjoyed this dark somewhat pitch black book where dubious choices were made and characters tried to redeem themselves into becoming better people for others. Yet screwdrivers will never ever be looked at the same again.
pickRivers did an amazing job of bringing the small town to life, with its quaint charm and hidden dangers lurking around every corner. It felt like I was right there, walking the streets alongside the characters....
