panI was excited that the premise of this book was about the lost library of Alexandria, but it turned out that was a relatively small part of the story. It was mostly about this crime family that put two brothers in phony leadership positions in Egypt and Mexico with the intention of acting as religious zealots and terrorists to take over each country‘s government. Still annoyingly misogynistic. Too many elements into one story.

pickhad to read this again for a book blog on clive cussler. i called it three of a kind featuring 3 books from my fave authors. i think by far, this is the most compliated & hardest assignment Dirk Pitt has to survive. one of his antagonists here almost outwitted Dirk. almost.
