pickThis was an original spin on the kidnapping mystery. The core mystery was very interesting and how it unraveled was riveting. The biggest flaw of this book is probably editing. The author had so many ideas and there are just a few too many here. I did like the main character and the psychic abilities were well used. The main relationship was a bit clumsy and the current events included will feel outdated very quickly.⬇️

I want to say that I loved this…but I really can‘t because I found the story difficult to follow overall. It felt like it had too much going on. And while I did catch on towards the end…I just can‘t really say I enjoyed it as much as everyone else. I can say that it didn‘t have anything to do with the 'psychic abilities'…I actually liked the way that aspect was handled.

pickVivvy‘s ex Mike is now a cop and knows she can sometimes “see” things (she doesn‘t say psychic), and occasionally has her look over some cases. She thus ends up wrapped up in a case of a missing girl whose mother is in prison for her murder. I really liked this! It feels like this could be the start of a series and I hope so. She kept me absorbed and guessing the whole time.
