This is book 5 in the series. I wish I had read the others first. I felt like I missed out on character and world building. However, the author gives enough background that I was not totally lost. This is a paranormal romance set at Christmas and not just a holiday story. I enjoyed the change of pace from all the other holiday books I have been reading. So this is the second book I‘ve read by this Author and I really love her! These books are super interesting and fun (and a bit sexy). Oh and I sound out she is from Houston - where my current contract is :)

This was a fun romp!!Vamps, Malcontents, shape shifters, and a love story between a mortal and a Kilted vamp. This is my second Sparks, and I would read her again. Every so often a campy vampire story is fun🧛🏼‍♂️🎄❤️

Loved it!!! Of course! And I would love to be smacked in the middle of this world (if my the good guys side but of course safe and protected by hot vamps!)
