This is an interesting and fun collection of short stories all focused on time travel and romance. 14 of the 16 stories are original to this anthology, and most are solid. While it's hard to pick a favorite, Cat Valente's is the one that really stood out the most to me so it's only fitting I use this picture taken from her Instagram post highlighting it.

I've been in a bit of a reading slump and this was the perfect book to break me out of it. As always, I liked some stories better than others (Catherynne M Valente's and Ellen Klages's were particular favorites) but it was overall a very strong, creative collection of stories about love and time travel.

Bonus: most of the stories were queer romances which I didn't know going in and was very happy to discover!

I'm back! Nothing like a cup of tea and a new book to take a little bit of the edge off Monday morning ☕

Short story anthologies are such a brilliant way to try out new authors, I was drawn to this by seeing that Zen Cho had a story included & while her story was my favourite, it had serious competition, several have me wishing for more and will be living rent free in my mind for some time. If you enjoy love stories and think time travel is a cool concept (and every author here has a different take on how time travel works and how it effects society)

3. A short story collection that uses love & time travel as a jumping off point with an author line up that might just make you drool (but like in a cool way).

2. I‘m just getting acquainted with Mary Stuart - who Wikipedia says “developed the romantic mystery genre, featuring smart, adventurous heroines who could hold their own in dangerous situations.” There is usually also a bit of magic involved (I‘m only 2 books into her backlist)
