so-soThe blurb for this book did it a disservice. I went in expecting a country house Christmas murder mystery and well I didn't get that.
It wasn't a gothic novel either which the blurb also promised. It was a decent historical novel with a mystery and some ghosts but I found it quite underwhelming.

TheAromaofBooks I was really hoping you would love this one because I love the cover 😂 I am surprised at how often I find that blurbs don't match the actual story, which leads to me not enjoying a book I may have otherwise liked, just because I was in the mood for what the blurb promised, not what the book actually was, if that makes sense haha 1y
