It‘s cloudy & humid today at Camp Read-N-Relax but there‘s a breeze which is nice. Took today off as I don‘t have a class to teach & need to use up some PTO hours. So far I have run errands & spent WAY too much at the Japanese Dollar Store (their stationary section is one of my kryptonites). I wanted to try a new nearby restaurant but it‘s closed Mondays, so I ended up with a fish sandwich & plantation iced tea for camp lunch.
Oh what a lovely read this was. A perfect summer read. The plot is simple and the ending is pretty obvious but I enjoyed the ride getting there. This was also a nice easy read whilst I was recovering in hopsital. Lottie is instantly likeable but I think Audrey stole the show for me. The ending was well written and finished the book perfectly, a fun read ideal for summer. #Netgalley 4*
Good. Even though at times the two main characters were exhausting to read about as I know it is more true to life that they face problems until they eventually get together but it just felt like there were too many problems. Also the sex scenes weren't well written so it just felt so awkward to read. ⬇️
This was delightful, just utterly delightful and lived up to its title; I brought this along for my camping trip and really had to drag myself away from the book. The main characters are well written, the side characters are such fun, and all the issues are settled realistically. This had me smiling the whole way!
