I really enjoyed this. The subject matter is upsetting of course, but it was handled in an interesting way.

I‘m very sleepy, but I finished my second book for the #readathon ! I think I‘m giving this one 3.75 stars. It‘s an atmospheric book that‘s hard to classify about a group of friends in a Northwestern town besieged by poverty and bad people—and that‘s before the devil shows up. I liked the creepy buildup of the novel but wished it had been longer to wrap things up more fully. @DeweysReadathon
A dark, sad story, that leaves you feeling lost. The author did a great job of leaving us in the dark,as the families of the lost aboriginal women' are in the dark.
More waiting room time. #waitingroomreading #veteranwifelife
Dentist appointment for the boy, today. #waitingroomreading Also I feel a little sad that no matter what waiting room I sit in, I seem to be the only one reading. How am I supposed to read a book I saw someone else reading, if I never see anyone else reading? #readabookpeopleyoumightlikeit
My son finished school and chores so he has 30 minutes on the x-box, and I get 30 minutes of reading. #homeschoolperk #homeschoollife
My son has a friend over, just one. How do two boys playing x-box make such a mess? I am not touching this until his friend leaves tomorrow. Tonight I read.

I love/hate working at a bookstore. On the one hand, all of this was less than $12!!! On the other hand, that was $12 I really should not have spent on more books.
