Another good read in the DCI Jonas Sheens Series. If you haven't read Gytha Lodge, you should give her a try.

Another Detective Sheens police procedural. This is a very strange and interesting story if somewhat far fetched. I‘m not quite getting how the different police POVs are supposed to all work in these books. I did skip the second book so maybe I need to go back and read that one, but if it‘s going to be a detective shift each time a la Tana French, then very underdeveloped POVs from minor detectives seem superfluous. Good story though. #netgalley

Waking up with a man in your bed who isn‘t your husband and one who is bleeding and dead is what Louise faced one morning.

Well day 1 of #20in4 done and one book finished plus four hours read so not a bad start. Not sure I'll make twenty hours but better start than I thought.

I'm a big fan of Gytha Lodge so I knew this would be a good read. This is book three in the series but could be read alone if you're not worried about the connections between the detectives. I like the differing relationships that are developing though I could easily guess what Jonah's ex wife wanted to tell him. The plot itself is pacy and twists so you can never be too sure who is guilty of what. #Netgalley 5* Book 1 of #20in4
