The Queen Mary was once a luxury liner in the 1930's that attracted the wealthy, a war ship that Winston Churchill himself sailed on, a hotel and now tourist attraction that is docked in Long Beach California. There are an #abundant amount of ghosts, some say in the hundreds, that roam the ship and this book tells their stories. A perfect #screamathon2020 read and this children's version was just my speed.

JanuarieTimewalker13 Omg!! I had a very strange experience on the Intrepid docked in Manhattan....I had to get off the ship....I was dizzy and had a physical reaction to it. This was about 15 years ago. If there are past lives, I‘m pretty sure I was killed on that ship during WW2. Recently I stumbled upon a sailor named Joe Mancini and when the writer of article described him, I was like, this guys sounds like me. Who knows? 4y
mrp27 @JanuarieTimewalker13 That‘s so interesting and very wild, definitely could be! I‘ve never been on the Intrepid but I‘ve driven by it down the west side highway many times. I went to the Queen Mary when I was a kid but I don‘t remember much. To this day they host events during Halloween, Christmas and once they had a horror/gothic book convention and I‘ve heard many stories from people who have attended. Crazy stuff! 4y

JanuarieTimewalker13 Oh that sounds SO cool!! I would love to do that! I‘m pretty sure I went to the Intrepid during Fleet Week, which made it even more interesting...lol you know, the sailors are so darn cute!! (edited) 4y
JanuarieTimewalker13 @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Life is weird, right? I could be way off, I‘ve had weird “happenings” before, but that was such a visceral, disturbing feeling...I think my friend and I were climbing down something and I was just like “nope”. And it wasn‘t anything to do with any fear...I didn‘t have much fear (now I do bc I‘m old and hip damaged). 4y
