Poetry and Tales | Edgar Allan Poe

One of my favorite annual Halloween traditions, this is the 21st year, is listening from beginning to end the double cd of Poe poetry & stories read (performed really) by various actors & musicians. Highlights include Walken's "The Raven" (love Gaiman, but Walken's is the quintessential reading), Iggy Pop's "The Tell-Tale Heart", Diamanda Galas' "Black Cat" & Gabriel Byrne's "Masque of the Red Death". Memorable recordings of the #gothic master.
