14 posts | 29 read | 13 to read
The gripping new Temperance Brennan novel from the world-class forensic anthropologist and Number 1 bestselling author Kathy Reichs. Tempe is faced with the horrifying possibility that the killer who got away in Monday Mourning is back... For a decade, Temperance Brennan has been haunted by the one who got away. The killer of young women. The monster. And the one who has now come back. Feeding on fear, grief and rage. Killing again. Killing girls. Getting closer. Coming for Tempe.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a pretty good Brennan book. After 17, you'd expect them to start getting stale, but I thought this was one of the better ones. Narrator did a great job.

Despite holiday interruptions this book held my attention and I didn‘t have to back track when days would go by before I could listen. Tempe is called into a meeting with a homicide detective from an outside jurisdiction and the monster Pomerleau resurfaced. Tempe and friends, after digging into the past, are able to bring the puzzle to conclusion.

One in a long-running series about a forensic anthropologist. It was a quick, mindless read. Very quick, since I figured out the ending about 150 pages in. Which made the next 150 pages rather superfluous.

I don't mind reading Kathy Reichs' books, some are
really good, but this one I just found boring

Three hours until I get off work. Three. Hours.

Then I can finish this book and Truly Devious.

Reichs and Rowling seemed liked the perfect authors for today's prompt and paired with my favorite pumpkin brew and a vintage Beanie Baby ghost... 👌🏻😁

Hello! It has passed lots of time since my last review! how are y'all doing? hope good! today I share to review, this is the first! This book is one of the last of Kathy Reichss's book I have read, I love her writing, the descriptions and the scientific truth a readear can find inside every book, almost like assist to a lecture. This particular one was quite heavy but seriously if you are into thrillers book, read this one!

there were parts that were sooo good, but overall, I feel as if a lot of the temperance brennen books are the same story over and over again. but yet, written differently enough that I continue reading them.

and the whole Tempe and Andrew thing is still driving me nuts!
