Wow, this series surprised me with how good it actually was. To me this felt like Romantic Suspense…but on the dark side. I don‘t always have the best of luck with that genre because it feels cheesy. This wasn‘t cheesy…not at all. The covers though...ugh. They make you think that the story is going to be all smut and no story, but that‘s not the case at all. For me, it had just the right amount of smut.

A reread actually. This is an excellent, extremely dark horror romance about a woman serial killer getting revenge on some truly evil people, and the FBI profiler investigating her. One of the best indie books I‘ve ever read. I cannot recommend enough, but with caveats as there are some serious content warnings to be aware of. 5⭐️

I love when I just stumble upon a great book... or in this case, a book series. It is 5 books (each between 95 to 150 pages) and tells the story of a serial killer who falls for a FBI profiler. Lana is pretty much a female Dexter. So many twists, so much detail (which can get pretty graphic at time). I devoured these in 3 days. Each on the 1st 4 left on a cliffhanger and making you want to know more of the story

My #July pick for #12booksin2021

Another tough choice as I had several favorites this month, but this indi dark romance series was so good, I bought the expensive print version. VERY dark about a revenge serial killer who falls for an FBI profiler. Definitely read triggers before reading.
