I may have gone a little overboard on the book buying while on vacation this week. My 2nd mom likes to thrift shop and knew a few good places in town. I added 55 books to my TBR stack - 17 of which were on my wishlist. Holy cow!! I‘m putting myself on a book buying ban for a while š³. #thriftshopping #usedbooks #bookbuyingban

Kaila-ann @Theaelizabet it was a lot of fun. Most of the books were 0.50 so I just couldn‘t help it lol. Plus I got my friend excited about little free libraries. There are so many of them in the town where she lives. 5y

Not book related, but I hope all of my fellow California littens are staying safe. The fires out here are pretty bad. I'm in Sacramento and our city is surrounded in smoke but thousands of people have it a lot worse. I'm sad to hear so many have lost their homes, some even their lives, and hundreds are still missing.

MEGR I am 14 miles from Malibu...today was the least amount of smoke. Do you have š· for the smoke? Wear them if you can because it can really effect your health. Take good care ā¯¤ļø¸ 5y

There are still hundreds missing and the death toll keeps climbing during the aftermath, so it's not completely over, but the worst part has passed at least. 5y
