On my second read through, I've revised the rating up to 4.5🌟because there are some great moments between Dallas & Peabody. Other highlights include Galahad the cat in reindeer antlers & Feeney aghast at the thought of having to wear a suit at Christmas dinner. Not quite top marks due to the fact that the book took just a little bit too long to get to the conclusion.
I'm still enjoying the Eve Dallas series, which is a pretty good feat at 20-something books in. They're fast and fun, and this one was festive with Christmasy stuff. I keep thinking I'd like it if she had an offshoot series with Peabody and McNabb.
Another great book in one of my favorite series! I enjoyed that we learned more about Eve and her past in this one. It was the perfect book to end my #boutofbooks read-a-thon with. I just can't get enough of these books- so good!
What great timing! Starting an In death book set around Christmas. What can I say I'm addicted to these characters. Even if I knew who the killer was right away I don't care it's the interactions between the characters that makes this series.
Me-Hmmm when you put it like that maybe I should stop buying books🤔🤔🤔
Myself and I- hahah no we will keep buying books #yeah for democracy @BrittanysBookshelf Thanks again for the link! I've always been curious :-)
I feel the same way about a Christmas tree! I'm just loving reading this in death book around Christmas
Roarke is the Jaime Fraser of the future. His love for Eve is amazing.
#seasonsreadings2016 My TBR pile is small for December. I want to finish Storm of Swords and then cuddle up with Roarke and Eve for the holiday.
#photoadaynov16 Playing photo challenge catch up :-) orange cover I will start reading this one in December because I found out story set around Christmas.
Came home to find some idiot mess left in my apartment by maintenance workers. Need to escape into book land 😌
