pickI know the type on this cover is hard to read, but I didn't realize until I got into this book that it was actually TWO books! No wonder it was such a chunkster. I loved the book, loved the world building, loved the magic, & I loved Throgmorten. I will definitely continue with this series! 5 🌟

I am not as confident about the Eleanor Roosevelt v3 #DoubleSpin! This is not the first time Eleanor has been spun and not completed! We shall see.

pickEnjoyable re read. The world is very inventive. Nice magical structure. YA, but definitely engaging enough for an adult reader looking for some escapism. My #doublespin for April. @TheAromaofBooks
As I'm slowly devouring Neil Gaiman's A View from the Cheap Seats, I come across a section about Diana Wynne Jones. The name was so familiar, yet I couldn't place it. As soon as the Chrestomanci series was mention, it all came crashing back to me. The beautifully built world, magic at every corner, and characters you feel in love with. ❤️
I don't think I ever got far in the books, so a reread might be in order soon.
