My Halloween plan for trick or treaters is to put out a table of treats and kids books. So I stopped by Recycled Reads this afternoon for a bag full of retired library books. Here are just a few. Some are seasonally themed, some just looked fun.

Leftovers will go in my LFL when it gets low. 😊📚📚

I had a free day, so I visited the newly reopened Recycled Reads, Austin‘s used bookstore run by the library system. The prices are the same as your typical library sale event. I didn‘t shop the graphic novels but snapped this for my friend @Eyelit and thought I‘d share here too 😁📚.

Making envelopes for #junkjournals. I‘m pretty sure this isn‘t something I want to do on my own.

I‘m at Recycled Reads learning about #junkjournals and some of these feels familiar.

It‘s been a couple of months but here I am, acquiring more books that I‘ll have to find homes for. 😀😉

I went to Recycled Reads today to pick up a stack of children‘s books to restock an empty Little Free Library I discovered near a favorite ice cream shop. I picked up this little haul of Easy Readers to fulfill my #BBRC prompts and pass along to the LFL. 😊📚

I may also have picked up a few #LitsyLove wishlist books while I was there 💌.

Alrighty then. I didn‘t manage to make it out without buying anything this time. I also managed to finish a sizeable chunk of the book club book that I decided to wait until the last minute to start (standard practice, tbh). The other regular member of the #TalkGreenToMe group isn‘t making it tonight so I‘m gonna hang out for a bit and then go home.
