Locally, I love the Salt Lake City Library. It‘s so open and beautiful!

But, the Trinity College Library in Dublin is also on my travel bucket list. 💖 I want to visit there so bad.

I love the Main Branch of the Salt Lake City Public Library.

Windows everywhere, a whole floor for children, a garden on the roof space, comfy chairs, super kind librarians. 10/10, no notes.

swishandflick I love that beautiful reading room in the Boston Library, just absolutely stunning. I don't get up there very often though! 10mo

kspenmoll I love visiting libraries when out of town. The library in Chatham, MA is absolutely gorgeous- brick & stone exterior with slate roof, Romanesque revival style. Inside is wood everywhere- my sister wrote my mother‘s obituary in one of it‘s spacious rooms. My local library is brick exterior, bright open rooms- a coffee and snack bar.great place to read in air conditioning! (edited) 10mo

Came back to confirm that this is still my favorite library. Next time I move, I'm going to base my decision primarily on what the library is like. I hear the one in Brisbane, Queensland (Australia) is pretty awesome.

ImperfectCJ @ozma.of.oz It was ours until we moved away in 2011. We saw that in the children's library they changed the ice cave to "Wild Woods"...as the parent of a kid who got a good knock falling on the hard surfaces of the ice cave years ago, I find this change positive! 2y

ImperfectCJ @DisneyFan I really like SLC. It's a beautiful and quirky place. If it weren't for the air quality and water shortage issues, I'd push for my spouse to get an all-remote job so we could move back. I like where I live now, but I like moving, and I really miss this library. 2y
