Chelsea.Poole Hi 👋 library employee here — depending on how your system works, you may get prioritized by your home branch/books owned by that branch. That‘s how it works in my neck of the woods 😊 4mo

mom_of_4 Mine does the same thing. I have like 12 at home and 3 in transit. Like omg i can only read so darn fast lol. 4mo

DGRachel @Come-read-with-me It‘s only open for quick pick up of online holds, but it‘s been closed for renovations since November 2019 and I‘m looking forward to being able to check out print books from my branch again. 💖 3y

😭 😭I know this is technically a good thing, but NOOOO!!!!!! It won't reopen until Winter 2021 and the nearest branch is more than twice as far from my house. 😭 😭

If you need me, I'll be curled up under my blanket fort, sobbing, rocking myself back and forth.

I love my library. I went to pick up my holds today and stopped by the reference desk to donate the fine waivers I earned through their summer break reading program. I learned they DO have prizes for completing the program! How cool is this recycled notebook? Also, if you are a mystery fan, Crime Writers of Color on Twitter (@CrimeWoC) has a site and spreadsheet of recommendations. Both of these books are from that site: books2read.com/rl/cwoc
