I loved the fusion of sci fi & fantasy. The world building was interesting. But I‘m not a fan of the enemies to lovers trend, & I felt the ending was rushed with one of the characters finding a diary to explain everything we needed to know in the last little bit. 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑

Even though I love fairy tale re-tellings like Cinder, this book really surprised me, I really didn't expect to love it so much this time seeing the first time I tried to read it I DNF it on page 38. The characters were so lovable, they grew so much as the story progressed and I found myself genuinely rooting for them. (Continues in comments)

I really enjoyed this version of Beauty. My favorite is still Robin McKinley's version. The story was fast flowing, could have had more character development and world building, because I think they would be interesting! but entertaining and engaging.
