I finally have a table to work jigsaw puzzles! I‘ve loved doing puzzles since childhood but it‘s been a long time since my last one. This one is a scene from the movie, My Neighbor Totoro. It was a gift from my husband. He knew I wanted to start audio puzzling. I‘m currently listening to Death at Bishop‘s Keep by Robin Paige.

A pretty quick read -- the main thing that stands out is the protagonist, Kate, an independent (and somewhat anachronistic) woman who writes short stories to make a living until invited by her British aunt to move to England and work as her secretary. Sir Charles, the male protagonist, is more nondescript.

I do think it's breathtaking cheek to have Kate telling Conan Doyle how to resurrect Holmes, though. Wow.

Sort of halfway to being a pick.

The perfect entry into a mystery series it sets up it's characters with enough backstory to keep you interested, doesn't immediately throw them together, and lets enough unanswered questions to remain to keep you reading.

Oh, and this entry is about the GOLDEN DAWN. Come on, you know you want to read this.
