Wrong Number, Right Guy
Wrong Number, Right Guy | Elle Casey
8 posts | 12 read | 4 to read
When a mysterious text message summons May Wexler to a biker bar in downtown New Orleans, she knows something is very wrong. Her sister has sent out an SOS, but when May gets there, she's nowhere to be found and May is the one in trouble--she's wearing pink espadrilles, she's got a Chihuahua in her purse, and she's in the middle of a shootout. After tall, muscular Ozzie comes to her rescue, May has no choice but to follow him to safety. At the headquarters of his private security firm, the Bourbon Street Boys, she finds a refuge for the night--and the offer of a job. But it's not long before a gun-toting stalker isn't the only complication in May's life: the more time she spends with Ozzie, the less she can deny that they've got some serious chemistry. A wrong number got her into this mess...Will it also get her the right guy?

Ok, it's time to add the reviews (I'm way behind with them) and one of my #newyearresolution is to keep Litsy up to date!
The book is not a masterpiece but it's an ok reading and I've enjoyed it. It's not demanding and it's entertaining and I would read the other books in this series!

I am way behind with reviews here on Litsy, and I have to keep up with the read books but for now I'm adding my currently reading. Not the best book ever, but it's a lot of fun!

Caved on this daily deal. I‘ve been eyeing this one on and off for a few years (or however long it‘s been out). The reviews are mixed so I‘ve always passed but not today. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Deal ends tonight.

Bailedbailed

Autocorrect induced bitching starts off this book.

I'm listening to this audio book for just a few more seconds, I don't like it. It's not the narrator, it's the writing.

laurieluna I'm seeing so many bails at the moment! What's happening? 😱 7y
julesG @miralunasbooknook We get wiser and know not to waste our precious reading time on books we don't like? 7y
laurieluna @julesG that is very true in my case. I used to feel like I had to finish books. Now I have such little time to waste. 7y
julesG @miralunasbooknook It's not just having less time, it's also that Litsy has shown me, bailing is okay. So I do it more often now. (Although this is only the third book I gave up on this year.) 7y

Mehso-so

I was looking for short audio book and this was free on Kindle Unlimited. It contains every Romance novel cliche: clueless damsel in distress, hot guy, throbbing manhood, etc. If that's your thing, you will love this. Dialogue made me cringe and so did the cat fight. The dogs were cute though.😕

Loved this romance. It is a straightforward romance. It had the right amount of humor, sexual tension, and hot sex.

I've been wanting to try audiobooks so I started with one that was on Amazon prime just to try it out. I don't usually write bad reviews but This book was so bad! It had the most unlikable heroine, she was extremely shallow and slow, it took her forever to figure out what was going on. It was almost painful to listen to and the only reason I finished was because I listened while I was working😒

Such a good book, hysterically funny in places and quite intense in others. It's an addictive read so beware!
