They make a deal to get married, for the last three months of her life. Just before her eighteenth birthday, the doctors tell Emily she has three months to live. Not much time to complete the bucket list she's had since she was twelve. The first item is the hardest--"Get married"--so she turns to the only man she knows who can help. Paul, a barely reformed bad boy, has inherited a fortune from his mother, but his life is defined by his conflicted relationship with his father--a white-collar, organized-crime boss who, thanks to Paul, is being brought up on federal charges. Without Emily's testimony, his father might walk, so Paul agrees to her unconventional proposal. He'll be her husband for her last three months. They agree that she'll testify against his father and he'll help her complete her bucket list. It's not supposed to be a true marriage. No consummation. No future. No love. No love. She's supposed to die, after all, and love might not be enough. The complete serial novel (Volumes I-VI) - a USA Today bestseller.

Writing lists is my go to way to destress, and I‘m always looking for more fun things to list off while listening to my audios. And since I always turn to Litsy with all my bookish ponders I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for bookish lists I can write out for my new insta account? I‘ll be doing my reading challenges, and monthly anticipated releases... but is there any thing specific you‘d be interested in seeing here on Litsy? ☺️

LazyOwl Upcoming bookish awards, like Nebula and their nominees either past and/or present. 4y
Butterfinger This may or may not be a list, but I'm thinking of a bingo of tropes found in certain genres. Ex. Nordic Noir 4y
jb72 Literary places to visit list. 4y

shortsarahrose Film adaptations of books (with the books they‘re based on!) 4y
Clwojick @jb72 yesssss! Such a good idea. 4y
Clwojick @shortsarahrose I think I have a bit of a list already started actually. Thanks for the reminder 😉 4y
Clwojick @Butterfinger do you mean less common sub genres? 4y
Clwojick @LazyOwl great suggestion! Thanks. 4y
Butterfinger @Clwojick I found this one of Haruki Murikami books - @Connster I think would post bingo of a series of books she was reading. I love to write lists too which is why I noticed these bingo games and now that I'm reading more Nordic Noir, I think a bingo of common tropes would be fun. 4y
Clwojick @Butterfinger that bingo looks awesome! 🔥 4y
Connster @Butterfinger Haha, yes! I was doing bingo a while back about the Famous Five books I read, as there were so many repetitions it became quite funny! I can‘t find the website I used to create mine, but there are loads online 😊 4y
TheAromaofBooks @Butterfinger - that bingo is awesome!! Murikami is March's #authoramonth so you should totally post that to share! 4y
