Stormwind | 
Hey all, we got hit by a huge pop up storm yesterday. The whole state has been without power and we still don‘t have power at my house: it has been about 21 hours (1st world white privilege annoyance on top of Covid! Yay!). Also our wifi is out and the Cell service has been spotty so I might be missing for a while. I am trying to save my phone battery as well. Just checking in. Now back to the world of books.

Chrissyreadit Were you in the path of the derecho? we were hit with one about 12 years ago and it took a couple days to get power back. Glad you are safe. 4y

katy4peas @Chrissyreadit yes, it hit our tree and just missed the house. The tree will survive but it needs trimming and will look funny for a while. The wind twisted the branches and split big holes into them. And the tops of the trees were stripped of leaves. Very odd! 4y

Chrissyreadit @katy4peas glad your tree will survive- we did not lose any in our yard but our street was blocked by several full grown trees 4y
katy4peas Yeah there is a lot of tree damage and the power stations were damaged as well which is part of the problem with restoring power in some places. 🙁 @Chrissyreadit (edited) 4y
