My Christmas present to me just arrived! I found some used Nancy Drews on Etsy in this pretty lavender binding I‘d never seen before with 2 stories per volume. Nancy Drew is one of my all time favorite comfort reads, but I don‘t find they have the same effect if I don‘t read physical copies, so I‘m amassing a little collection.

EclecticBookLover I'm working on this, too! I'm trying to get all the glossy yellow covers. I thought I had all of them when I finally got number 54, but then I found number 64! I had no idea they existed. They are a slightly different illustration style, so I think they're a bit "newer" than the other ones I have ? 1y

curiouserandcurioser @IndoorDame i love Nancy Drew and those are so pretty!! My original collection was stolen so im slowly acquiring them again. I think there are 66 in the original series, but im not positive:) 1y

Eh. Not all of the Nancy Drew books entertain me. This is one of them. Stolen antique tables don't really make for compelling mystery reading.

Sace @Texreader @valeriegeary Yup. Tables. Which were apparently connected to an older mystery about people disappearing, but that got revealed pretty much at the end of the book so...missed opportunity. 4y

When a neighbor asks Nancy to accompany her to an old mansion, she finds a witch tree symbol that leads her to Pennsylvania Dutch country in pursuit of a thief. The friendly welcome she receives from the Amish people soon changes to hostility when it is rumored that Nancy is a witch!
