What would you wish for if you were the last person on earth? This is a short story that follows a young girl who is the only person left alive on earth. After she finds a genie in the bottle, she gets three wishes to try to make it right. While I wouldn‘t say this is a must read, if you have 30 minutes it‘s a cute one to pick up. #owls #magicalreadathon

Pickpick

A woman finds herself with three wishes following the apocalypse in this #shortfiction story by Charlie Jane Anders, who also wrote my recent favorite, All The Birds In The Sky. This episode of #LevarBurtonReads was recorded in front of an audience with live music, which really enhanced my experience of this story. Definitely adding Anders‘ short fiction collection to my Want To Read list ASAP!
