Using my first ever magnetic bookmark thanks to the #bookmarkswap and @Crazeedi 😍 Also, decided to pick this up because the classic I‘m reading it good but I‘m making slow progress so I‘m feeling pretty behind on my NEWTs. Hopefully this will help me make progress

Enjoying an evening in with a cup of tea, asmr Harry Potter rooms in the background and this quality book. The second half of work was absolutely insane and I definitely needed this. Just finished the introduction and finally get to start the story 🥰

I think I enjoyed this even more than the books Rick Riordan wrote! The best thing about this book is that it's HILARIOUS. I literally laughed out loud more than 5 times while reading. The adventure and the story are great, and I really liked most of the characters. The set up for the next book happened at the end of this one, so I will be getting my hands on a copy of the second one soon!

A in Herbology NEWTs: 3⭐️

This was a fun read when you want something a bit ridiculous and weird to shake up your reading. With the whole Florida man news trend, this is definitely that idea in a book. It followed the trial of a man who stole orchids from a protected park and it showed how the results of that trial impacted his life and those involved in the issue. It was definitely a weird read and not for everyone but I‘m happy I gave it a try.

This might be the best storyline yet! Captain Marvel approaches Kamala and asks her to lead a group of vigilantes. They are using intel from someone who can predict the future to arrest people before they come crimes. The moral discussions about profiling and guilt v innocence in our society were SO GOOD. I also really liked learning about her family and seeing her make some very tough decisions

I had no idea that this book was going to be so brash, and not in a good way. I thought the beginning was very boring, but as it got into Bourdain's addictions I started to get more interested. Rather than being about what it's like to be a chef or work in the industry, it's very specific to his experiences. Also, in later chapters he mentions other cooks dying by suicide rather crassly, which was very strange, especially on audiobook

This was a great introduction! Good world building, beautiful artwork, and characters that are interesting and that I want to learn more about. Very glad that I already have the second Cole checked out from the library. I will definitely be recommending this to anyone who enjoys scifi

This was unexpected at most turns. Character-centered and full of heart, this short story collection hits all the right notes in it's discussion of love in it's various forms and types. I will definitely be reading more from this author! Only 1-2 of these stories were less than 5 ⭐ for me.

⭐⭐⭐⭐💫

This book was a wild ride, and I NEEDED to know why and how it would end! Girls in a boarding school on an island off the coast of Maine, when a virus hits and they get quarantined. The virus affects all of them in different, gruesome ways and many of the girls die before the resolution. I didn't find the main characters very likeable, but it didn't affect my reading enjoyment that much. ⬇️

rjsthumbelina The descriptive writing and lush setting were all I needed with the danger and mystery of the Tox! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2mo

As usual, this book was whimsical and fun! Magical realism dealing all about the relationships between people. Josey was not my favorite character she has ever written, but Della Lee and Chloe made up for it. Josey is stuck under her mother's every whim trying to make up for being a difficult child instead of living her own life. Until Della Lee crawls in her window one night and works hard to change her worldview! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
