I saw this book mentioned somewhere on social media, went to the libby app to put it on hold and it was available! I'm a 3rd of the way thru and love it! Make me want to binge Family Ties 😊
I haven‘t read this yet; it‘s been on my TBR shelf for a while. According to the blurb Michael ‘talks about what Parkinson‘s has given him; the chance to appreciate a wonderful life., and the opportunity to help search for a cure and spread public awareness of the disease. He feels as if he is a very lucky man indeed‘ That is a true #lustforlife.
How can you not love this guy?
I wouldn‘t say this was the best memoir I‘ve read, but it was nostalgic reading about the days of Family Ties and Back to the Future. Makes me feel old, though.
And his fight to raise awareness and research funding for Parkinson‘s makes me love him even more.
I never used to read biographies. I thought that they would be boring. This attitude changed after I read Lucky Man. I was obsessed with MJF as a teenager so of course I made an exception for him and ran out to buy his book as soon as it was available. Note: I have since become a huge fan of biographies. #FunFridayPhoto
