It's been a heck of a week, Littens. I've spent the weekend recuperating and catching up on my reading and being incredibly lazy, but the best thing I did was go ahead and book a summer vacation. I cannot wait to get back up into the beautiful UP of #PureMichigan, and also can't wait to make vacation reading list!

Living for today's prompt! I love being in nature, and am continually grateful for the beauty and calm I find there.
1. I am thankful to live in a place where I can revel in all four seasons. #PureMichigan #MittenLitten
2. I'm grateful for the sweet, earthy scent of leaves when I take walks this time of year.
3. So grateful for a partner who loves the outdoors, and swims, hikes, bikes, and walks with me!

Lmstraubie As of now we are closed until April 17th. Then decisions will be made on a two week basis. I really, really, really hope we go back. 🤞🤞🤞 4y

Elizabeth2 I‘m in MD. We are closed until April 24th as of now. The kids are getting packets of activities (depending on grade level) for the next 2 weeks, and we were told teachers would be reaching out to tell students what they‘d be doing after that. No online learning because of the inequity. I have a senior. My heart is broken for him & his lost senior year. 😢 I am holding onto hope that they will open & he will get to go to Prom and attend graduation. 4y

Suet624 Vermont closed schools for the rest of the school year. 4y

JaclynW Originally in Utah, our schools were shut down for 3 weeks. This week the Governor changed it to May 1st. I don't think we are going back...I'm so very sad about this.😭 The districts are doing online school now. My kids just finished their second week of it. 4y

TheBookHippie @Scochrane26 ours is doing pretty well. She closed the schools when they refused to. And she‘s trying to fight department of education for us. I think it‘s a massively stressful job I‘ve seen some good things from governors.. can‘t be easy, these decisions..it‘s not so cut and dry as ppl think. In the end we just have to shelter in place and ride it out.. hard to do. 4y

Tamra We may hear the same in MN. 😑 Trying to keep the kids occupied - which is a full time job, yet another one! 4y

I just learned of the hashtag #MittenLitten and I love it! Born and raised in Birch Run (halfway between Flint and Saginaw, famous mall, could see the lights from Bronner‘s in Frankenmuth from my backyard), I‘m living near Philly now, but will always be a Michigander at heart. 😍

Stacy_31 Oooh I used to love the Birch Run outlets! I grew up in Bay City but moved to CA almost 20 years ago. 6y

Libby1 The fudge at Frankenmuth is awesome. In the UK fudge is vanilla. What is WRONG with them? I was so disappointed the first time I bought some. 6y
