Just finished reading this book with my book club! I really enjoyed this read; it was one that I did not want to put down because I just had to find out what was going to happen next. I loved the humor throughout the story and there were plenty of relatable references! The ending was not what I expected and it did feel a little rushed. Besides that, I loved this book & I can‘t wait to read more books by Hannah Orenstein!

Book 38 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything seems fine when you have a boyfriend who is successful and the only thing missing is to be successful just like him. Finding a new job position as a matchmaker and their rule is not to date anyone that‘s in the website, how hard that can be to follow? since betrayed started rules can be easy to brake, who is going to know?. 💔🗽❤️

At first I enjoyed this book but about halfway through something happened to the story that I didn‘t like. I LOVED watching The matchmaker show when it was on Bravo so I decided it was time to take this book off the shelf and read it. Another thing that I didn‘t like about the book was the ending. So much stuff happened that I felt like the ending was rushed and wasn‘t wrapped up at all.

I was morbidly curious about whether the story could be redeemed, so I stuck with it. I oughtn't make that mistake again. My friends and I weren‘t even remotely so shallow and immature at Sasha‘s age and neither are my younger son and his friends, who are now roughly/were recently her age. Ick!

I picked these up today, I can‘t wait to dive into them #bookhaul

An enjoyable read. I found the behind the scenes of the matchmaking industry fascinating. And, some of the clients, I'm sure, are based on real life experiences. I wish there was a bit more development with the main character and her parents since their marriage and her childhood really shaped her. Fun and frothy which is what I needed for this latest heat wave.

This is a playfully titled story. It reminds me of the chick lit I used to read. Whether they stopped making books like these, or I stopped reading them, I‘m not sure. What I do know is I enjoyed it for what it was- a light, semi coming of age romp about a young girl named Sasha who lands the seemingly perfect job of professional matchmaker. But how can she help others if she can‘t even help herself? If you miss old school chick lit, read this.

Reading this one next. It‘s interesting. Littens seem to give it good reviews, but on Goodreads it‘s not doing so hot. Wonder where my opinion will fall?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 I was initially drawn to this book because of the cover and title. Plus, the idea of reading about a matchmaker sounded highly entertaining. Throughout the book, I felt a roller coaster of emotions. I felt everything from laughing and cheering Sasha on to wanting to shake some sense into her. This is a quick and fun read that I´ll surely recommend to others. My only question is: will there be a sequel?! Because that ending... WOW!

I liked this book. Quick, cute, easy romance with a realistic ending. Makes me glad I'm not 22 anymore!

After repeating “one more chapter” numerous times, my Porg pjs and I are officially ready for bed. Got 60% through this book today and plan on finishing it tomorrow.

“Hi, my name is #Edith and I totally didn‘t pee in the cat toy basket right in front of you earlier today!” 🙄 Sometimes cats are the worst.
