Ghost Hunting: True Stories of Unexplained Phenomena from the Atlantic Paranormal Society
Ghost Hunting: True Stories of Unexplained Phenomena from the Atlantic Paranormal Society | Jason Hawes
6 posts | 6 read | 4 to read
The real-life adventures of the paranormal investigators-slash-plumbers who star in the #1 hit Sci Fi Channel television show "Ghost Hunters." The Atlantic Paranormal Society, also known as T.A.P.S., is the brainchild of two plumbers by day, paranormal investigators by night: Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson. Their hair-raising investigations, fueled by their unique abilities and a healthy dose of scientific method, have made them the subject of a hit TV show: the SCI FI Channel's "Ghost Hunters." Now their experiences are in print for the first time, as Jason and Grant recount for us, with the help of veteran author Michael Jan Friedman, the stories of some of their most memorable investigations. The men and women of T.A.P.S. pursue ghosts and other supernatural phenomena with the most sophisticated scientific equipment available -- from thermal-imaging cameras to electromagnetic-field recorders to digital thermometers -- and the results may surprise you. Featuring both cases depicted on "Ghost Hunters" and earlier T.A.P.S. adventures never told before now, this funny, fascinating, frightening collection will challenge everything you thought you knew about the spirit world.

I‘ve also watched 20 episodes of Ghosthunters, which remains my favourite paranormal/haunting show of all time. Though when Grant left it did go a bit downhill unfortunately(Grant was my favourite honestly) So that‘s 101pts for #TeamSlaughter in #Scarathlon #readathon

Book number 45 of my year! I‘m on a roll again woo hoo! However it‘s only 273 pages so I think maybe my next book can‘t be under 400 lol just sayin I feel like a bit of a cheater choosing short books 😆🤓🤗

Caffeinated_Reader I am a huge believer in all things paranormal and or extraterrestrial and so reading books like this just make me giddy as hell! Aliens, alternate universes, flat earth conspiracies I devour those type of topics lol but seriously I‘m an extremely open minded person. I enjoyed this book! Short but good. 6y

I accepted a challenge to post covers of 7 books that I love: no explanations, no reviews, just the covers.

Day 4.

I admit...I watched Ghost Hunters the many years it was on TV (the earlier seasons were the best). Hawes and Wilson are founding members of TAPS, and this is one of the books they wrote chronicling #ghastlyghosts and spirits they encountered, most from cases not recorded for TV. #hallowreads
