Sign of the Cross
Sign of the Cross: A religious conspiracy thriller | Glenn Cooper
4 posts | 2 read | 2 to read
Introducing Harvard professor Cal Donovan in the first of an intriguing new series of religious conspiracy thrillers. Responding to an urgent summons from the Vatican, Harvard professor of religion and archaeology, Cal Donovan, flies to Italy to interview a young priest who has developed the stigmata of the crucifixion. Stunned to discover that the priests condition may be genuine, Cal determines to uncover the cause of the mysterious wounds. But Cal is not the only one. When Giovanni is kidnapped from his church at dead of night, Cal comes to realize that the priest holds the key to an earth-shattering secret: a secret which a shadowy nationalist organization is desperate to control. Teaming up with Giovannis sister Irene, Cal must unravel the mystery and track down Giovanni in a perilous race against the clock ... before an apocalyptic catastrophe is unleashed.

3rd book finished for #DashingDecember, 2nd book for #WinterSolstice.

Who can‘t beat a thriller linked to conspiracies, the Catholic Church and stigmata. This was good book that took us across Europe and into Israel. Love Glenn Copper books and a new character introduce in Cal Donovan, now to move onto books 2 and 3. If doing #ReadingEurope2020 takes in Spain, Germany, Italy, Croatia. Using this for #Spain For me.

MsMelissa So this is the first in a new series? 3y

Bookgoil You‘re doing so great! I‘m sad your library is shut down. I went tonight but I was literally the only patron there. It was eerie. 3y
Andrew65 @Bookgoil Been shut for most of the last nine months! Thanks. 😊 (edited) 3y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick That's crazy that the libraries can't/won't figure out a way to do curbside pick up at least. I hope your home library is still full of some good books to read. 3y
Andrew65 @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick Thankfully got over 1000 books at home and library e-books but does limit some series that can‘t take forward at the moment. 3y
Andrew65 @TheAromaofBooks This was my #bookspin book. 3y

Another favorite author. I first read #TheWillPiperseries and enjoyed these books very much. So when #SignoftheCross came out I was anxious to read it and it did not disappoint. I have also read another standalone #TheResurrectionMaker which was also very good. Check out #GlennCooper if you like historical mystery.

Andrew65 I need to check out this book, love Glenn Cooper. 6y
