LeahBergen @vivastory The first of her books that I read was Memento Mori. I recommend! 3mo
LeahBergen @Moray_Reads I prefer it, too! Here in Canada we seem to have a mix of US and UK covers, dependent on the publishing house (I guess). 3mo
LeahBergen @Centique Thanks! 😘 3mo
LeahBergen @MaureenMc They‘re the best. 😆 3mo
LeahBergen @andrew61 Thanks! 😘 3mo

CarolynM Some good reads there. I loved the Willow Farm books as a child - I read them several times. I didn‘t think The Children of Cherry Tree Farm was anywhere near as good 😂😂 3mo
LeahBergen @charl08 Thanks! 😊 3mo
LeahBergen @CarolynM 😆 Good to hear! This is actually a Blyton series that I never got to as a kid (damn, she was prolific!). I‘ll probably read these without reading Cherry Tree Farm first… but who knows? I may come across it before then. 3mo

On my TBR. The blurb says this is a dark, sensuous novel of obsession, torment and jealousy. After the death of her husband, Etsuko moves into the house of her father-in-law and lives with him as a couple but the relationship repulses her. There she becomes attracted to the man servant of the house, but he is oblivious to her interest. She is tormented with the unrequited sexual longing. She just wants him to #layallyourloveonne 😐

Reviewsbylola Sounds really good and I love the cover! 4y
