There's a great deal today from Libro.fm if you join -- three credits for the price of one month ($14.99). And the best part is you have all the membership benefits you'd get through Audible, but you can support your local independent bookstore instead of Amazon. Win-win! #audiobookswitch

My unique referral link: http://libro.fm/referral?rf_code=lfm52791

LibrarianRyan I agree. I too love Libro!! 5y
janeycanuck I hope they expand to Canada! 5y

I currently have these 9 audiobooks to listen to, not to mention the 450+ books that I need to #readandreview for #NetGalley and the endless amount of physical books I have waiting for me in my spare bedroom. I‘m thinking it shouldn‘t be a problem to lock myself in my apartment all weekend, and tear through 24 hours of reading for the #24B4monday challenge. 😂📚😅📖😬

I‘d like to know what the best audiobook is that you have ever listened to, or listened to recently. I just got a free credit from audible.com and I‘d rather pick a fantastic listen than just a book off of my TBR list. THANKS!

StephanieGeiser The last audiobook I finished is tagged here. The narrator was fabulous and the story was enthralling. Highly recommended! 6y
Bklover Born a Crime by Trevor Noah. It was amazing!! 6y

Bklover @OrangeMooseReads Great minds think alike! 6y
GripLitGrl I'm fairly new to audiobooks but the one that got me hooked & was so great I'd listen again was 6y
Kaye This isn‘t new but The Help was one of my favorites. The narrators were fabulous. Another one where the narration was great was Dolores. Claiborne. Those are 2 that get an A + for narration. I‘m not sure what type books you like so not sure what other categories you may like. 6y
Ncostell Born a Crime for sure and also 6y
Karkar I second Born A Crime and add The Hate U Give 6y

5.) Oh god, do I have to? Gone With The Wind or The Crystal Shard, probably.

#audiobookinquiry @Chelleo

Chelleo I‘ve seen quite a few mentions of GWTW. May have to hunker down and tackle that one sometime soon. 6y
blithebuoyant @Chelleo definitely do it! So worth the time. Even as much as I complain about Ashley Wilkes lmao 6y
JenlovesJT47 @Chelleo do it! The audiobook for GWTW is so amazing! 🤗💚 6y

1. Driving to work. (The audio version of “The Name of the Wind” got me through some long, spooky drives through fog and ice last year. I‘m a nervous nelly on the road, so audiobooks chill me out.) 2. Audible & overdrive. 3. Original. 4. Ummmmm... 5. TNOTW or ACOWAR ...#audiobookinquiry @Chelleo

1. Walking or crocheting. Though it's been a while since I did either. I listen to audiobooks in the car with my wife too.

2. Audible, but I have some favourites on CD.

3. Depends. Often sped up to 1.5x.

4. I don't have a favourite narrator, but all the BBC dramatisations are amazing. Their Lord of the Rings is a special favourite I finally got to share with my wife recently.

5. Strong Poison or Busman's Honeymoon.

I LOVE my audiobooks!
1- I‘m an audiodriver, or I might be cleaning or working on my stained glass.
2- I use Hoopla and Libby, mostly.
3- usually 1.25x.
4- Wil Wheaten, but I‘m more likely to remember the narrator‘s I can‘t stand (that‘s you Scott Brick!)
5- Ready Player One, Name of the Wind

Foragingfantasy Soubhi I just started Pratchetts, I shall wear Midnight. It's the only one my library had on audio... is it horrible to start with this one?? 6y
Soubhiville @Foragingfantasy the first of that series- Wee Free Men- is one of my favorites! That whole series, with Tiffany Aching, in my opinion is the very best of Pratchett. It‘s completely ok to read them out of order, but if you like it try to get the others in order, as they follow her growing up. But each book is totally stand alone. ENJOY! 6y
Foragingfantasy @Soubhiville I can already tell I'm going to love it! I may stop and find wee free men. Thank you!! 6y

MidnightBookGirl Yeah, I have a total audio crush on him. ❤🎤 6y
Jess7 What is Axis360? I‘ve never heard of it. 6y
Bklover @Jess7 it‘s an elibrary through the high school I used to work at. The only negative is a limited selection and a five ebook limit. 6y

Jess7 Ok gotcha! I use overdrive. It works well, but I‘m glad to see several people are taking advantage of their libraries. 💙 6y
Bklover @MidnightBookGirl Me too!!!💕 6y
Bklover @jess7 The town I live in is small and we don‘t have a local library so I‘m glad to have this available. 6y
Jess7 Oh gotcha! That makes sense! 6y
Beachesnbooks Have you seen the show Crazy Ex-Girlfriend? Santino Fontana is in it and it was so weird listening to him narrate You because I pictured him as an evil version of his character from the show 😂 6y
Bklover @Beachesnbooks No! I‘m going to have to check it out, although he will always be creepy loveable? Joe!! 6y

1. I like to have a light, faster paced read for when I'm exercising and choresing, and a slower non-fiction for commuting and #audiocoloring
2. Library when I can, otherwise Audible
3. Usually 1.25, unless it's due back to the library tomorrow. Then 1.5.
4. Cassandra Campbell, Bahni Turpin, Simon Vance, James Marsters
5. World War Z is the perfect example of an average book elevated by the medium. The full cast recording is 💯

LectricSheep Full cast audiobooks were legitimately life changing for me. 😍 I would listen to almost any book in full cast. It‘s such a fun experience. 6y
MidnightBookGirl I do love a full cast! The right narrator can really make the difference between okay and great! Although a bad narrator can ruin a book for me. I usually preview before I commit to an audiobook. 6y

Kallik93 What books has James Marsters read??? 6y
2BR02B @Kallik93 Most notably The Dresden Files, but also some Shakespeare and Oscar Wilde. 6y
Kallik93 @2BR02B 😱😍❤️❤️ 6y
2BR02B @MidnightBookGirl That's a really good idea. I'm going to start taking advantage of samples. 👍 6y
