Bookish help needed! My kiddo turns 14 this month and has requested "books or merch based on Greek mythology" for her Birthday. She has already devoured the entire Percy Jackson series. Any suggestions?

TheBookHippie Mythology (75th Anniversary Illustrated Edition): Timeless Tales of Gods and Heroes this is pretty. It‘s like an Encyclopedia. 4w

A book focused solely on the og trio!! Percy, Annabeth, and Grover!! The first book came out more than twenty years ago and was the first and last to center on this trio. So excited and can‘t wait!!! Set post Hero‘s of Olympus and pre Trials of Apollo. This will follow the trio trying to help Percy get a college recommendation letter from a god by finding his chalice. Announcing this tight in the middle of college admissions season was smart Rick

Pickpick

12-year-old Percy Jackson and his mother Sally go on a vacation to the beach, which is shortly interrupted by a huge storm and a horrendous howl in the distance. Percy‘s best friend Grover shows up unexpectedly at their door and tells him that monstrous forces are looking for him. Grover takes Percy to Camp Half Blood- a camp specifically for kids who are demigods (half-mortal and half-god).

shay.pytlarz Percy finds out that the Greek Gods are still alive, and learns that he is the son of Poseidon. Shortly after he joins Camp Half Blood, trouble in Olympus erupts. Zeus‘ master bolt has gone missing and it is up to Percy and his two friends Grover and Annabeth, to find it and save Olympus before the Gods go to war. 5y
shay.pytlarz If you like fantasy books that are action-packed then this book is for you! Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif is written in the third person limited point of view. Rick Riordan establishes this through the use of “I” and “we” as we are only seeing Percy‘s perspective of things. 5y
MissYaremcio Nicely done Shay! Are you planning on reading/or have you read the rest of the series? 6/6 5y
shay.pytlarz @MissYaremcio I have read the entire series! It‘s one of my favourites! 5y

Jumping on the Percy Jackson train 😂 Couldn‘t force myself to buy the series off the site because I know I can get them cheaper at McKays (where my NoVA people at?!)

But these three were a steal! So excited!
