There is no denying this is another excellent book in the wonderful Roy Grace Series, and it is quite a fast paced one with events happening in not much more than 24 hours. This meant some of the positive features of the series weren‘t able to be developed in the same way however, e.g relationship between Roy and Cleo, the banter between Glenn and Roy, the team briefings. That said it was still a great read. Now just a year to wait for the next.

Andrew65 @Leftcoastzen 😂 In my eyes one of the best British crime series out there, where you feel part of the investigation, great characterisation and sometimes partly written from killer‘s perspective. Do recommend them. Also move along at pace. 6y

Andrew65 @EadieB I love the way you truly feel part of the investigation through the book and the thinking, and the regular team briefings are one of the biggest strengths in the books. 6y

Andrew65 @EadieB Also some are written from the killer‘s perspective as well as from the investigators. Also a great group of characters. Just be aware one left me in pieces and floods of tears! 😭 All round great books. 6y

Another great edition to the series 👍🏻 Roy certainly has a busy life!! Real focus on the crimes in this one, not much personal story development.
