Mehso-so

140/150 While the artwork was outstanding, the story was pretty meh. Taking place between A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back, it's pretty much filler. Vader crashes on a planet while seeking Luke. Luke crashes on the same planet. Leia arrives with rebel forces to kill Vader. Vader kicks everyone's ass, but no confrontation between father and son. 3 ⭐⭐⭐
2nd book finished for #NovelNovember @Andrew65

I seriously feel like a teen boy reading comics. But they are so easy and really intrigue my love for all things Star Wars ❤️ again. Not the best thing ever. But I love the next part of this Vader story

May the fourth be with you!

It‘s hard to do just one photo of the Star Wars merch we have, so I chose the shelf in Maya‘s room. ☺️ #showmeyourstarwars #starwarsday #MayMadness

Riveted_Reader_Melissa Love him! I have the R2, but not the BB8 4y

@Riveted_Reader_Melissa Can you host a party, and invite me, so I can come and do Jedi Business with your Star Wars LEGO? Please. 😘

Riveted_Reader_Melissa Haha! Anytime, my cousin‘s daughter used to come just to play with the Death Star. She loved it and all the rooms from the movie in it. 4y
Scochrane26 My friends are obsessed with Star Wars, they‘ve been to Celebration twice, have a whole room of Star Wars stuff, & even have a Death Star Christmas tree topper that lights up & play the theme. You would love their house. 4y
Clwojick @Scochrane26 😱😱😱😱I would definitely love their house. ♥️ 4y

And book three for #NEWTsreadathon2018 is done!

I think I will always be slightly disappointed by these as they are so stuck between the movies and it seems like they are scared to do anything large because of movie canon. Can't wait until they movie away from the main trilogy storyline and into unexplored territory.

Also, this is weird to say, but I kind of love Triple-Zero, C-3PO's evil murder-bot cousin

A fun read. Really enjoyed this graphic novel. And it‘s cool seeing all the original characters together again.

One of these days @xicanti the stars are going to align for me to really dig in to a #comicthon but after 3 days of hardcore giving thanks and a day of preliminary Christmas shopping I plan on reading these 2 issues, watching a little of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (based on a comic!) and then crashing.

xicanti Stuff based on comics TOTALLY counts. 5y

I‘m reading #acomicaday to work through my tremendous back-log, and I came across this moment.

How badass is this? The Rebel army lets Vader know that he‘s surrounded, but he begs to differ...

“All I am surrounded by is fear. And dead men.”

This is my first jump into the new Star Wars comics and I gotta say an astromech droid and protocol droid who love to murder people, I'm in! I was not aware this was the third Vader trade paperback, so I am reading out of order. Story is Vader and Luke are trapped on the same planet between New Hope and Empire. Vader is after Luke while Luke is trying to escape. Good stuff.

On a roll tonight! I'm loving both the Marvel Star Wars and Darth Vader series. I think they're probably some of the best stuff coming out of Marvel right now. Vader Down is no different. I can't recommend these series enough.
