Littens, can you help me?
I scored books 2 and 3 in the Infernal Devices trilogy on a swap site, brand new, and I‘m really excited! However I have been having trouble finding the first book in the same edition, which means I need to special order it, but I want to make sure it‘s the right one!!

Can you help me figure this out? I live in a non-English speaking country and the editions available at the local English bookshop don‘t match 😕

I think Clockwork Angel may be my favorite Cassandra Clare book so far. I'm loving Tessa and can't wait to keep reading to find out what happens with Jem and Will! 💕

This was a second read and I loved it even more the second time around. I am a sucker for Victorian London and the steampunk feel of the book.

My grandma made me a book mark like 5years ago.

Shape changers, demons, and clockwork automatons make this a better series than 'The Mortal Instruments' judging by this first book. Loved it. Rating: 4/5.

Victorian shadowhunters and Supernatural

This series is a definite pick. Just a wonderful trilogy set in Victorian England with characters I loved.

After two years of waiting to start this series (City of Bones, Ashes and Class took a while to get through) I'm finally going to meet Tessa, Will and Jem.
Victorian shadowhunters bring it on!

Love love this book; even better than the Mortal Instruments. It has all the good of the previous series and less pretentiousness. I reread this at least yearly.

My favorite bookish squad is Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunters. Will, Tessa and Jem, or Clary, Jace, Isabelle and Alec - they're all great and gorgeous, have superhuman abilities, they've all got eachother's backs, and they've all got Magnus Bane! #augustofpages #bookphotochallenge

While I didn't love the characters in this prequel *quite* as much as the characters in Mortal Instruments (#TeamSimon all the way!), I loved the steampunk setting in Victorian London. It's an interesting take on the Shadowhunter world. Hopefully there will be more Magnus in the sequel!

I'm enjoying this steampunk prequel to the Mortal Instruments series!

This book was certainly different from what I was used to since I read The Mortal Instruments series first, but it was still a very good way to show the reader how long Shadowhunters had been around. It also showed us different views from when these books take place and when the others take place.

First in The Infernal Devices trilogy, an amazing series by author Cassandra Clare who has also wrote Mortal Instruments.
