pickI listened to the audio which was a pleasant experience. Louisiana swamp setting. Bowser and Birdie (11 yo) are trying to solve the problem of Birdie‘s grammy‘s stuffed prize marlin which has been stolen. Browser is going to use his powerful sniffer to find the burglar. He does a great job of narrating this book. Great book for any age. Charming and amusing. Recommended for dog-loving children and adults.

Birdie is about to make the best friend she will ever have in s scraggly giant of a dog she names Bowser. She is spending time with her grandmother in the Louisanna swamp where mystery is just around the corner. You see there is this big fish story about a treasure hidden somewhere, and only the map knows and it's hidden in this stuffed fish. The adventure is seen through the eyes of Bowser, but beware as he is easily distracted by bacon.
My current #audiobook. I love his adult stuff. This is his first MG title.

pickBook 3 of #24in48 - I decided to give this a try for the letter Q in #LitsyAtoZ and I ended up thoroughly enjoying it. The book is narrated by Bowser, who is adopted by Birdie at the beginning of the book. Bowser loves Birdie right away and soon they are trying solve a mystery. I thought I would just read the first in the series but I think I will pick up the rest.
I ended up listening to one of my audiobooks last night until I couldn‘t keep my eyes open. I‘m back at it this morning with Birdie and Bowser again. #24in48 #readathon
pickNew series, at least it‘s new to me. Bowser and Birdie, the 11 year old sleuth. Loved it. Waiting for book 2 to become available at the library.
Reading this one to my sickie this evening. It‘s very cute, and just want the doctor ordered for my dog loving girlie.
When you should have already finished questions for a book and you realize that you also never finished actually reading the book. Ugh.
At least I finished my official questions on time and these are for a library event, not state tournaments.
