pickThis is a dreamy little story with a third person limited narration creates an in-between world. It distances the reader from the protagonist with the use of he, him, his, but so focused on how the main character thinks about the world that contextual details his name, the location aren't stated. Nothing much happens - the writer leaves his office, goes, for a walk, has drink in a seedy bar, and returns home, and yet I was utterly charmed by it.
