pickI Loved this book it made me feel so many different feels. Vivi just finished her first year of college and it didn't go well at all. She is dealing with the loss of her father and trying to figure out what happened on night when she made a stupid choice. When she starts an internship at a hospital she mets TJ but she doesn't remember him. She also mets Angel a patient. She doesn't know meeting them will change her life forever! 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

pickThis was such a lovely YA book that considered some tough issues like grief, finding your path, and illegal immigration with a lot of empathy. The romance was sweet, but it was the friendships between the three main characters, Vivi, TJ, and Ángel, that really stood out. Overall, an enjoyable read for fans of YA realistic fiction.

I won this YA ARC recently in a Goodreads giveaway. I haven't read it yet, but it seems to be about two young college kids who develop a friendship working in a hospital together one summer and before long they become #kidsinlove.

so-so#netgalley Marie Marquart‘s upcoming novel. Coming February 2018. YA romance. Good but didn‘t blow me away.
Marie Marquardt may not be Latinx, but she writes about the Latinx immigrant experience with authenticity and empathy. Love her books!
